Europe Dances!

Europe Dances!

210 years of the Congress of Vienna, 70 years of the Austrian Armed Forces and 30 years of EU accession. To celebrate all three anniversaries appropriately, the 76th Officers’ Ball will be held under the motto “Europe dances”. In keeping with this, we are delighted to welcome the military representatives of the member states of the European Union to the ball. To emphasise the European character of the ball, the specially formed gala orchestra of the Austrian Armed Forces will perform a brilliant midnight show in which the musical diversity of the European Union will be presented. The ball guests will also be accompanied through the midnight show by another jubilarian, who will be celebrating his 200th birthday in 2025 and to whose music people love to get into the dancing mood – Johann Strauss Son.

We look forward to welcoming our guests to the ball and taking you on a musical journey through Europe. Celebrate with us in the imperial ambience of the Hofburg, where the representatives of the European states danced during the Congress of Vienna. With this in mind, we are delighted that Europe is coming to Vienna to dance the night away with us!
